Who will be invited to join Goodstone Group? What are the criteria?
The Goodstone Group network is a select group of highly-talented executive coaches. Since the inception of the network, we have received a lot of feedback from our clients about what they look for in a coach. Based on this feedback and our experience of staffing coaches, we look for coaches who have a combination of the following:
- A minimum of 10 years of business leadership, preferably leading to the VP level or above in a Fortune 1000 company or the equivalent in a major professional services firm;
- Formal education in the behavioral sciences and/or completion of an intensive coaching program from a reputable institution that requires a combination of classroom work, supervised coaching of clients, personal development work, and a performance assessment leading to certification;
- A minimum of three years experience coaching executives in senior and other critical leadership roles in a corporate environment; and
- Strong evidence of the self-awareness, humility, and the personal communications skills needed to successfully interview for highly selective coaching assignments
What is the application process?
The strength of the Goodstone Group brand depends on the quality of the services we deliver and the people who represent us in the marketplace. To ensure this consistency, we undertake a disciplined application process that results in our inviting a very select group of applicants to join the network.

We will only respond to inquiries that include a fully completed application package and meet our criteria for further candidate review. Generally, the selection and training of incoming coaches takes between 3 to 6 months.
